Week 1 Day 6

Day 6 


The 5K challenge 3.1 miles

Last Day!!! You are probably so sore, tired, and ready for a rest! Today is a short workout, but you should give it everything that you have left to give.  The theme for today is "Sail" because, we are telling our old self to set sail! Say goodbye to the old you and say HI to the new you.  Look at yourself and be proud! This is your life, you are going to take control of it and be healthy in every way. You should feel a new sense of power after accomplishing what you have this week! So let's put in our music and finish the 5k challenge.

Warm up: 5-10 min

Challenge:  Do your quickest 5K.  You may have to walk, crawl, whatever you have to do,  just know you are 3.1 miles away from your day off!  You got this.  Run outside, do the challenge on the elliptical or a fun treadmill, whatever you choose, JUST DO IT.  When you are done record or take a picture of your results, post it to the Facebook page or save it to your phone, just make sure you save it.  We will have another challenge in 2 weeks to see your progress.

Stretch

YOU ARE DONE!  Ahhhhh!  Remember this feeling, this feeling makes it all worth it.  You just completed the first week of challenges.  Now you can get some rest and enjoy the sunshine! Get ready to BRING IT next Monday!

  1. Would you please give some examples of food that you eat. I do great during the day but find it hard to feed my family something super healthy. Help I am out of ideas.

  2. Richelle we know how you feel. It gets hard to be creative and healthy at the same time. Do you use Pinterest? They have a lot of helpful ideas there. In the meantime we will share with everyone some of our healthy meal ideas. Hopefully we can get others to share some of their ideas too, so stay tuned!
