Work it Wednesday!
Work it Wednesdays are short, but effective workouts that can be done from home. I challenge you to do these workouts between commercials of your favorite T.V. show. These workouts are for the days you only have a short amount of time to workout. The workouts will be 20 min long, with short intervals of intensity with a short amount of rest. Remember, the scream and shout workout? If not here is a refresher. This is a 20 min Tabata training. This means you give it your all for 20 sec. and rest for 10 then you repeat. So, let's WORK IT and sweat for just 20 min of your day.
Warm up
1 min Run in Place
1 min Mountain Climbers
1 min Jumping Jacks
1 min Butt Kicks
1 min Squats
Workout
20 sec Donkey Kicks
10 sec Rest
20 sec High Knees
10 sec Rest
Repeat 5X's Rest 1 min
20 sec Butt Kicks
10 sec Rest
20 sec Sprint in Place
10 sec Rest
Repeat 5X's Rest 1 min
20 sec Knee Assisted Pushups
10 sec Rest
20 sec Mountain Climbers
10 sec Rest
Repeat 5X's Rest 1 min
20 sec Burpies
10 sec Rest
20 sec Donkey Kicks
10 sec Rest
Repeat 5X's Rest 1 min
Stretch
Way to take a small amount of time and burn some serious calories!
